Episode #23 features one of my good friends and fellow music lover, Rob Heller! Rob talks about his experience growing up when Punk first came along and what it was like being a young fan at the time.
Still a huge music fan, Rob runs Facebook fan pages for the likes of Adalita (Magic Dirt) and Steve Kilby (The Church) whilst frequenting gigs and concerts around a Melbourne. Rob's son Hugh also turns out to be one hell of a bass player in his own right.
I hope you enjoy my chat with Rob, check out his fan pages below:

Episode#21 features the one, the only, Bob Crain. California born folk rock singer, song writer, guitarist musician with a day job! Solo artist and frontman on the Ashbury Medicine Show. Bob was the mastermind behind the Taste of Indie Collective, bringing together a community of Musician’s within Melbourne for a short but brilliant moment in time. This was where I first met Bob.
It was an absolute pleasure to have Bob on Foxx on the Wire and chat with him for over 2 hours! I warned you he would talk your ears off...Sit back, relax and enjoy this chat with Bob...

Welcome to episode #18 where I sit down and chat with the master behind the sound at Crosstown Sound studio Preston in Melbourne’s inner north, Joshua Whitehead.
Rehearsal rooms and recording studio all run by Josh himself. He’s worked with some of Melbourne best including Big League, Old Etiquettes, Fleeting Persuasion and Shadow Transmitter among many more.
I recorded my second album ‘Blustery Winter’ with Josh at Crosstown in 2018. It’s not just the great sound that gets muso’s rolling in and out of Crosstown, it’s the man himself.
Josh is highly respected and one of the nicest guys you could meet, an absolute pleasure to work with and bounce ideas off of. That’s something I can vouch for first hand.
I hope you enjoy our chat. Check out Josh’s own brilliant work - Shadow Transmitter

This is all DIY and I have no budgets or financial backing, I'm learning as i go along. Thanks for your patience :)

Episode #15 features Australian singer-songwriter, producer, guitarist and hotelier Mick Thomas. Well known in the Music industry from bands such as Weddings Parties Anything, Mick Thomas and the Sure Thing, Mick Thomas' the Roving Commission and of course his solo work.
Our chat took place inside the Merri Creek Tavern on High Street Northcote which Mick actually runs, but soon after we hit record we had to move outside due to bands loading in their gear for the night. Throughout our chat you might hear the 86 tram go by.
I had a million questions for a legend like Mick who has been in the industry for so many years, riding the ups and downs I could have picked his brain for hours. I felt very fortunate to be able to sit down and talk to him for the time we had.
Reflecting on this conversation with Mick made me realise what a central role the High Street Thornbury/Northcote run has actually had in my career as Acoustic Foxx as I explain in my intro to this Podcast.
Thanks for your time Mick, hope you all enjoy this chat.
